Human Spaceflight, On A Budget

See the Moon.
For $10*.

Other space companies charge a quarter-billion dollars a seat. We charge less than a large pizza. Randy's Rockets is America's most reasonably-priced provider of technically-legal human spaceflight.

*Price excludes fuel surcharge, atmosphere re-entry fee, spacesuit rental, and a signed waiver you will not read. Return trip sold separately.

How it works

Four steps
to orbit

A streamlined boarding process refined over literally dozens of launches. No astronaut training required, or offered.

01

Book

Fill in the form below. Pick a destination, a departure window, and a spacesuit size. Takes ninety seconds.

02

Sign

Initial the waiver. All 40 pages. It says some things. We recommend not dwelling on page 31.

03

Board

Arrive at the shed. Climb into the capsule via the provided stepladder. Buckle up — we added belts this year.

04

Launch

Randy counts down from ten, mostly. Ignition. You are now, statistically speaking, probably in space.

The Fleet

Our vehicles

A diverse portfolio of reusable* launch vehicles, each named with total confidence. Specs verified by Randy, on paper, in pencil.

Ol' Reliable

Flight Ready

The workhorse. Has completed more launches than any vehicle we still have. Smells faintly of campfire, in a good way.

"I saw the actual Moon for ten American dollars. My cousin paid a hedge fund $450,000 for the same view. I win."

"Randy shook my hand, said 'you'll be fine,' and he was mostly right. Five stars. Snack pack was stale but earned."

No payment today — we'll sort out your ten dollars at the shed. Just tell us where you'd like to go and how big your head is (for the helmet).

  • No deposit. We operate on a firm handshake and a signed waiver.
  • Flexible dates. Rescheduling is free and, frankly, likely.
  • Group rates. Bring four friends, one flies free (statistically).

This is a demo form — no data leaves your browser and no seat is actually booked.

Questions, answered

The fine print,
in large print

Is this actually safe? +
Define "safe." We provide a helmet, a seatbelt (new this year), and a countdown. Our return rate is a proud 99.5%, which we round up to "basically everyone."
How is the Moon only $10? +
Volume, mostly. Also we don't spend money on things like "redundant systems" or "a launch license." Savings passed directly to you.
What happens on page 31 of the waiver? +
Page 31 is where the waiver stops apologizing and starts making requests. We recommend signing it quickly and thinking about something else.
Do you offer a return trip? +
For the Moon and Mars, yes, usually, weather and fuel permitting. For the Sun, the return trip is philosophically unavailable.
Can I bring a carry-on? +
One personal item, under 40 lbs, that will not become a projectile at Mach 7. No liquids over 3oz, no exceptions, this is basically an airline.
Who is Randy? +
Randy is the founder, CEO, chief engineer, ground crew, and person who says "you'll be fine." He has a welder and a dream. That's the whole company.
